José Manuel Reinosa Prado is PhD in Civil Engineering from University of A Coruña (Spain). He developed his tasks as research engineer in the Continuum Mechanics Group of High Technical School of Civil Engineering in the period 2002-2005, working in several projects on civil engineering and aeronautics.  Currently he works as Assistant Professor in the area of Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic School of Ferrol. His research activities are focused on the design and analysis of steel structures, the Finite Element Method, semi-rigid connections and sustainable construction.
