Architect and PhD in Architecture (Universidade da Coruña, 2016, Sobresaliente Cum Laude), with a doctoral thesis on Renaissance proportion, studied through the case of the church of the Monastery of San Martín Pinario in Santiago de Compostela. Principal of PERNASVARELA arquitectos since 1998, a practice recognised for its work in heritage restoration and socially oriented architecture. His built work has received several awards and distinctions. Lecturer in Architectural Graphic Expression at the Universidade da Coruña, with previous university teaching at CESUGA (2008–2020) and in the UDC–PUCMM Master's programme. His research addresses architectural heritage, architectural representation, BIM methodology and the role of drawing, digital models and AI as instruments of architectural thought.
