Cristina is M.B.A. in Business Adminitration at ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Madrid), and M.B.A. in Marketing and Market Research at ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Madrid) and Ph.D. at the University of A Coruña. She has professional experience as responsible at the Internationalization Department at Sociedad Textil Lonia, S.A. (Carolina Herrera and Purificación García brands).
She has awarded one research "sexenio" by the Comisión Nacional Evaluadora de la Actividad Investigadora (CNEAI) for the 2010-2015 period.
She has done post-doc research stays at the Université du Quebec en Outaouais (Ottawa, Canada) in 2012, 2014 y 2017; at St. Joseph's University (Philadelphia, USA) in 2013; at the University of Texas at Austin (McCombs School of Business, USA) in 2015 and at the Universidad de La Frontera (Chile) in 2018. Since year 2014 is Research Associate Professor at the Université du Quebec en Outaouais (Ottawa, Canada).
Currently, Cristina is expert evaluator of H2020 projects of the European Commission, and member of the editorial board of Journal of International Food & Agribusiness Marketing, Innovative Marketing and Journal of Global Marketing. In addition, Cristina has been guest editor of the journals Administrative Sciences and Foods.
