As a teacher I participated in the Degree in Occupational Therapy (UDC) in the subjects: Quantitative Research and Statistics.
Since the year 2016 I am a teacher contracted in the UDC in the Degree in Nursing (subjects: Clinical Nursing III and Clinical Practice I).
Member evaluator of the Sistema Acreditador de Formación Continuada das Profesións Sanitarias na Comunidade Autónoma de Galicia (Consellería de Sanidade-Xunta de Galicia) since the year 2011.
Research Experience:
Predoctoral contract “María Barbeito” (Xunta de Galicia) and Predoctoral stay in the Parc de Recerca Biomédica de Barcelona.
I have been involved in quantitative research for more than 10 years in the cardiovascular and community fields. I am a member of the UDC's Cardiovascular Research Group (GRINCAR). With special emphasis for research in Cardiovascular Epidemiology, Research in Primary Care and Nursing and Qualitative Research.
Member of the Biomedical Research Institute of Coruña (INIBIC), in the area of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Diseases, specifically in Cardiovascular Epidemiology, Primary Care and Nursing.
Research projects in which I have participated: ISAAC Coruña, ISAAC Galicia, ERICE, EISL, OBTEDIGA, GALIPEMIAS, OFRECE, FANTASIIA, NUTRIGAL, R-EUReCa.
Care activity:
My nursing experience in the field of nursing has been done mainly in Oncology, Primary Care, Gynecology and Pediatrics (Primary Care).
Research lines:
Quantitative methods research. Cardiovascular Epidemiology. Nutritional Habits. Mediterranean dietary patterns.
